It is my pleasure to recommend Khudayja Ward and the We Build Foundation. As the Volunteer Resource Manager at Sarah’s House, I have had the opportunity to work with Khudayja during her time as a volunteer at our program, where she demonstrated genuine commitment to serving families and individuals experiencing homelessness.
While at Sarah’s House, Khudayja organized and participated in several meaningful activities, including hosting an ice cream social for our residents, delivering Valentine’s Day cards and treats to bring joy to families, and coordinating a team of Deloitte volunteers to complete landscaping projects at our facility. These contributions not only provided direct support to our residents but also helped create a more welcoming environment for our clients.
Khudayja brings creativity, compassion, and dedication to her service, and I believe these qualities will ensure the success of her work with the We Build Foundation. Her commitment to strengthening families and building community is clear, and I have no doubt that she will make a lasting positive impact through her foundation’s programs and partnerships.
