What We Do

At the We Build Foundation, we empower children from underserved communities by providing access to transformative experiences that promote growth, education, and emotional well-being. Based in Maryland, our non-profit organization offers scholarships to ACA-accredited summer camps across Baltimore and Howard Counties. Our programs, funded entirely by donations and grants, provide opportunities in sports, STEM, the arts, and leadership, ensuring that all children, regardless of income, can enjoy safe, enriching activities that help shape their future.

The cost to send a child to camp for a week is approximately $150. We Build Foundation will provide the full tuition needed to attend the week-long camp, including lunch and any required items the family does not have, to ensure the student has a memorable experience. These opportunities will be open to children in Baltimore and Howard County who are in 3rd to 12th grade and are currently experiencing housing displacement. Children whose families are not struggling financially have more opportunities to participate in camp and other educational programs during the summer. We believe children whose families are economically disadvantaged should have the same opportunity.
